El Nido the best!
It was the best decision that we have to leave Puerto Princesa at night to travel going to El Nido. We arrived at 3 o'clock in the morning at the terminal. And we had to take a tricycle going to the nearest landmark near our accommodation.
The view is amazing when sunrise begins to perch in the horizon. On our front view is a landscape of limestone formation that is breathtaking and one of a kind for me. El Nido is a surreal place: Endless beaches, crystal clear waters, and an underwater world, that will take your breath away. A destination that truly looks like paradise.
The archipelago of El Nido was like nothing I had ever seen before. The water was a bright, shimmering turquoise, the sands were white like flour and the towering limestone cliffs left me staring into the sky in wonder. The islands were scattered with unspoiled lagoons and tiny hidden beaches, and under the water lay an endless world of incredible corals and rainbow-colored fish, still untouched after all these years. To put it simply, the place blew me away.
It was a perfect weather for island hopping as we hop into our banka full of anxious passenger ready to devour the perfect view of the seascape. El Nido is not just a tropical beach paradise, it's a place like no other. With breathtaking views of nature, over and under the sea, El Nido is so unique and for sure, one of the most beautiful seascapes on earth.
Kayaking in secret lagoons, mangrove tours, snorkeling or diving with colorful tropical fishes, hiking to the peak of an island, fishing, bird watching, exploring uninhabited islands, picnic lunches or sunbathing in a white sand beach.
We did the Island hopping which offers seeing lagoons that you can only think of in a dream. It was a feast of natural wonders.
It was fun roaming around the town, eating at restaurants and carinderias and also meeting new friends in El Nido. After the tour, we went our way to check places to eat. We were surprised to discover contemporary design stores that cater to different needs around the town.
It was a long and tiring day for us. A day full of surprises and overwhelming gratitude of this one of a kind experience.
